Donald MacDonald, my brother's son
A nephew that no man could disdain
Proud of his bloodline, yet modest and kind
Quiet and resourceful, strong in his mind

He cared for the weak, the poor, and lonely
A man of the people no one; can gainsy that
Steadfast in his effort, to transform their lives
Their fathers, their mothers, their husbands, their
wives

His gift as a Bard,was used with discretion
God gave him that gift, to serve all in need
Without failing he served, wherever He called him
He gave of his best, in thought, mind and deed

A father whose children, will never forgot him
He cherished them all, his wife, and his home
Hard working and loving,steadfast and loyal
You cannot replace him, how far you may roam

A Chieftain of Keppoch, from the moment of birth
He laughed, and he joked, of such merits of worth
But deep in his heart, he knew only too well
What was his by his birthright, he cherished so well

I am proud of my nephew, his work and his life
He led by example, for children, and wife
He led,his proud heart, could lead him no more
He strived, till his last breath,had evened the score

So let us remember,someone we hold dear
Someone in our family, who has had to move on
To a place, we may dream of,but must wait to attain
In time, we will meet him, and all who have gone
