MEMORIAL APPEAL
AFTER A PERIOD OF 156 YEARS, THE KEPPOCH CHIEF HAS LANDED.
THE MACDONALDS OF CLAN RANALD OF LOCHABER CAN REJOICE, AS
THEIR FAMOUS CLAN, HAS A GENUINE FEAR-CINNE AT LONG LAST.
Our clan is known
in Scottish History as "The Ready Warriors", the
present incumbent has inherited most, if not all of his ancestors
characteristics and so has his family. The Chief's message
now follows :
"As it is
my intention to create a permanent memorial to our ancestors,
I have decided to erect one in the historic burial ground
of Clan Ranald of Lochaber, the ancient 7th century Celtic
burial ground of Cille Choirill in the Western Highlands of
Scotland, our Duthas ( our clan territory ). The memorial
will be cast in bronze, and our Chieftain Stanley F. Drake,
our Fear-tarruing dhealbh - (Clan Artistic Limner ) has illustrated
it on this page.. A signed copy by your Chief will be sent
to all donors, no matter how small a donation may be but please
include a SAE . Donations should be sent to :-

Because of the
currency situation vis a vis charges, which sometime are extortionate
in proportion to the value of a cheque. All cheques should
be Certified Cheques, Crosssed and made payable to "The
Keppoch Memorial Fund". Names but not full addresses
of all donors who donate £50 or more, will be shown
on the web site.
A special photograph of the Keppoch Memorial Plaque signed
by our Chief will be sent to all those who donate £100
or above. For security reasons neither email nor personal
addresses will be posted.

Keppoch Memorial
Fund - message from the Chief
Thank you one and all for your generous support to our
fund. We are nearing our target figure. With a bit of further
effort by those who have not yet contributed to the Keppoch
Memorial Fund, we may have our memorial in situ in Cille
Choirill in time for The Gathering and Home Coming 2009,
when I can arrange for a Keppoch Gathering on site for that
very special occasion. Lets go for it!
